Historical fiction is my favorite genre so I was interested in what this novel had to offer One of my pet peeves is publicists comparing one book to another “The Lilac Girls” was about Hitler’s doctors horrible experiments on twins and the award winning “The Nightingale” was about two sisters and their decisions about how they lived out the war one at home
