    This is an odd hybrid photographer Archie Lieberman captures the title subjects in black and white He then grafts one of Ray Bradbury's early short stories The Next In Line also about the title subject into his work Thus this consists of Lieberman's photos coupled with a reprint of Bradbury's story The images are disturbing and the story is no less so As usual Bradbury exhibits his usual p

    I had the luck of discovering this book right after visiting the museum The photos and the story capture the horrifying expressions and painfully constricted body contortionsThe story though also takes you into the town of Guanajuato Bradbury describes it so well The town hasn’t changed much in centuriesThis is not a story about mummies It’s a story about loneliness and the human condition

    This was considerably different from any other mummy book I've read The first half of the book is a Ray Bradbury story about some folks from the US who visit the Guanajuato mummies and the 2nd half is pictures of various mummies These made this a cool book but what I REALLY wanted was some facts about the mummies in the pictures Since they took all these mummies out of their graves they should at le

    I just ordered this book I've read the Ray Bradbury story Next In Line and it is fantastic It was collected in The October CountryLong ago I traveled a bit in Mexico but came down with a horrible case of bronchitis I wish that I had made it to Guanajuatoguanajuato mummies
