    Read this over 10 years ago and still remember its dark moodiness I developed a huge crush on Beethoven as a result of this book I m also still determined to see Rodin s bust of Beethoven after Kenton described it so powerfully Some have described it as a spiritual thriller I hope this doesn t put it in the same class as Angels Demons and The

    I read this book maybe 6 years ago and loved it instantly I still remember the book s dark mood I think Kenton has done a wonderful job creating a dark mood that blends perfectly well with her language and the story I hope to re read this book in a few years I think you have to be able to embrace the dark mood if you wish to appreciate this book

    It was hard to get into at first and there were some what I call Dry Biscuit moments too. hard to swallow But persevering with the book, things started to get muchinteresting and less drawn out but it took reading it about half way After that, I was captured by the history and the letters and the characters I am glad I managed to read the whole thin
