    My father, Gerald H Varner, was born in Cleburne County, Arkansas 1926 and grew up there According to this book, in that same year a tornado touched down and destroyed the home of Mike Disfarmer and his mother My dad s family was photographed several times by Disfarmer in the 1930s in Heber Springs, Arkansas Cleburne County We kept those prints as family photographs,
